The setting or settings of my book both took away and enhanced the story. One setting was wonderland, a very colorful happy place. Wonderland is a great setting for imagination because it’s so otherworldly and imaginative. The fact that it’s imaginative, greatly adds to the interest of the reader. The other setting however, is 19th century Victorian England. England is a very dark and depressing place in the book where people have lost all faith in imagination. This setting was very boring and actually made me lose interest in the story.
